Hi everyone I am pamela and I am from Astoria Oregon. I live right on the the columbia river, "The grave yard to the Pacfic". As it sometimes is known, I have lived in Astoria 28 years. I have a wonderful husband and 2 teens 3 dogs 1 cat are in my family. I have a 17 year old daughter and 14 year old son. I am often a football mom durning the fall season and a wrestling mom during the spring. I began crafting and sewing at the age of 16 years and have gone non-stop. I now have an online store www.franklyitskuteproductions.com In my store I create all kinds of crafts, rag rugs, cloth dolls, stuffed animals, quilts, pillows, and what ever else I can think up. I have just started a blog and Its called Its just frankly kute. In my blog I will have recipes that are simple and quick, sometimes I talk about what I am working on, contests and what is quite fun. I love crafting, I would say my most favorite thing to create is the cloth dolls, I have found old vintage cloth dolls and have created them with some new ideas in mind. Second is my quilts, they are one of kind and each one tells a story of its own. I love using my imagination to the fullest! Lately I have gone into all kinds of things in crafting, I love making my own paper dolls, fabric bowls. Working with chalkboard fabric that is painting on it! I really love the way I quilt too, its one of kind and the reason I think that is because of my ability to cartoon. I was a published cartoonist for 3 local papers out in Montana and I did the cartoons for 3 1/2 years. Next I did the drawing for a book call Be Bold GET OLD! It was tons of fun to do the drawnings for the book. My quilting is a form of wacking, I will sit first though and draw an idea or sometimes I just start cutting away at the fabric and just letting the quit take its own form. As I mentioned I am a serious pet lover I have 3 dogs and 1 cat, the youngest one is oreo and I am using her picture she naturally is my baby! You can often find me playing around on www.dogster.com and caster.com. Being a mom keeps me busy, one teen girl and one teen boy who is about to leave the 8th grade. Yad it makes feel older but I keep alive the little kid through crafting. My daughter will be a senior next fall too.... phew! My husband is wonderful, a very hard working mule train truck driver. When he choose this job. We decided that I should stay at home so that our children would always have a parent at home. He works hard and is devoted dad. So you can always find me home on the computer or at the sewing machine. |
